Description:

During the reign of Emperor Wencheng, the Tiger Guard secretly controlled Chang’an and rose to power. A government official from Huinan County, Xu Ying, is summoned to the capital by Emperor Ji Wuyang to root out corrupt officials. The leader of the Tiger Guard, General Yan Fengshan, refuses to abdicate and plots to divide the nation and make himself king. He hides his forces in the “Soldiers’ Alley” and waits for a favorable opportunity to attack.

With the emperor’s support, Xu Ying allies with General Gu Yu, swordsman Ye Zheng, artist Bai Wan, and scholar Si Zhiling. Together, they use their wisdom to destroy the “Soldiers’ Alley, thwart Yan Fengshan’s plan, and restore peace to Chang’an.
